Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a space to understand what you are experiencing, make sense of difficult emotions and work through patterns that may have been affecting your life for a long time.

I work with concerns such as:

  • Anxiety and persistent worry
  • Trauma and distressing experiences
  • Emotional overwhelm and chronic stress
  • Self-esteem and self-worth difficulties
  • Grief and loss
  • Relationship and attachment concerns
  • Difficulties with emotional regulation
  • Longstanding emotional and behavioural patterns
  • Adjustment to significant life changes

My individual work draws particularly on EMDR, Schema Therapy and Advanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), depending on your concerns and therapeutic goals.

EMDR can be helpful when distressing or traumatic experiences continue to affect how you feel, think or respond in the present.

Schema Therapy can help you understand longstanding emotional patterns, deeply held beliefs and coping responses that may have developed earlier in life and continue to influence your relationships and wellbeing.

Advanced CBT can help identify and work with patterns of thoughts, emotions and behaviours that contribute to anxiety, stress and other emotional difficulties.

Therapy is collaborative and paced according to your needs, with the approach tailored to what you are experiencing and what you want to work towards.

Some of the concerns I frequently support in individual therapy include:

  • Depression, anxiety, and stress
  • Relationship and emotional wellbeing concerns
  • Self-esteem, confidence, and body image issues
  • Trauma, grief, and major life transitions
  • OCD, phobias, and panic-related difficulties
  • Anger regulation and behavioural patterns
  • ADHD and attention-related challenges
  • Eating-related concerns and coping patterns
  • Career dissatisfaction and identity concerns
  • Loneliness and emotional disconnection

Therapeutic Approach

I view therapy as a collaborative process: one that requires clarity, patience, and respect. My role is to listen with empathy, to ask the questions that matter, and to create a structured yet compassionate space where new possibilities for change can emerge. The work we do together is grounded in evidence-based methods, but held with the kind of warmth and steadiness that makes honest exploration feel possible. In-person or online, I show up with the same care, presence, and calm, so you feel supported wherever you are. Finding the right therapist is deeply personal. If I am not the right fit, I will guide you toward someone who may be — because what matters most is that you feel supported and understood.
